Nature reserves often consist of contiguous, valuable nature, which can include both old-growth forest, waterways, open cultural landscapes and marshes.<\/p>\n<p>For more information about nature reserves and where they are, see the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency&#8217;s<a href=\"https:\/\/www.naturvardsverket.se\/en\/topics\/protected-areas\/different-types-of-nature-conservation\/nature-reserve\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> website about nature reserves<\/a>. Sweden&#8217;s county map (see under MAPS) also shows where nature reserves are located.<\/p>\n<p><strong>National parks<\/strong><br \/>Sweden has 30 national parks spread from north to south. They are all unique areas that are particularly important to protect and preserve.<\/p>\n<p>Within Sweden&#8217;s national parks, you may not land or fly low.
